In its third acquisition in just a month, Conga is buying Counselytics, a provider of contract discovery and analytics artificial intelligence (AI) services.

Conga said adding Counselytics will enhance its intelligent document automation suite. It also will broaden Conga’s portfolio by allowing customers to convert unstructured contract data to intelligence.

The acquisition is expected to be final within the next few weeks. Financial details weren’t disclosed.

Suzanne Swanson, Conga’s global vice president of partners, tells Channel Partners the Counselytics acquisition expands the opportunities for partners to use Conga services to address “real customer pain points” related to contract life-cycle management.

“Partners can leverage Counselytics discovery capabilities to help customers identify legal documents stored in multiple locations across the enterprise for cataloging and management, use AI to improve efficiency by identifying process bottlenecks or improve compliance by identifying potentially risky contract clauses,” she said.

Counselytics doesn’t have any channel partners.

This follows Conga’s acquisition of Octiv, a provider of web-based document offerings, on March 7 and Orchestrate, which provides a digital process workflow automation application, on March 27. This also is Conga’s six acquisition in three years.

“We are building a global ecosystem of delivery partners that can not only implement Conga solutions but also surround them with expert services to insure customers can maximize the return on their investment in Conga,” Swanson said. “The recent acquisitions provide the opportunity for deeper relationships with partners and their customers as we expand the both the type and the complexity of the use cases that Conga can address and create long-term value for customers and the ecosystem.”

This enhanced offering will drive even greater results and value to Conga customers globally through faster and more accurate contract review, the company said.

“Teaming up with Conga presents an exciting opportunity for our customers and employees, and will bring the Counselytics product to a much broader audience,” said Jason Gabbard, Counselytics’ founder and CEO. “Conga’s reputation for stellar customer success, product innovation, global support and complementary expertise in the document and contract management space will allow us to deliver a more complete contract lifecycle experience to our customers.”

Conga’s System Integrators (SI) Partner Program features a rewards system that allows partners to earn points through engagement with both the company and new customers.
