The Colorado Rockies have called Coors Field, located in lower downtown Denver, home since 1995. To modernize the facility and create richer digital experiences for fans, the Rockies needed to add bandwidth and high-performance connectivity, as well as a seamless way to bridge communications among Coors Field, the Salt Rivers Field spring training facility in Arizona, and the Rockies’ five Dugout retail stores. Following a comprehensive evaluation of multiple technology providers, the Rockies selected Comcast Business to implement dual 1 Gbps Ethernet dedicated internet connections and an Advanced ActiveCore SD-WAN connection at Coors Field.
