MSPmentor 501 honoree Coretelligent is now offering a BDR solution to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The Needham, Massachusetts-based MSP this week unveiled CoreBDR, which is designed to prevent data loss.
In February, Asigra added Microsoft Office 365 data protection to its Cloud Backup solution. The Toronto-based cloud BDR solutions provider said its new release, Asigra Cloud Backup Version 13, allows users to automatically protect their Office 365 data at all times.
In February, LogicNow launched a new version of its hybrid cloud BDR service. The company said its release, MAX Backup v15.0, backs up data 80 percent faster than before.
Zetta.net in April launched Zetta DataProtect 4.7, a new version of its local and cloud BDR and archiving solution. The company said this release provides a direct-to-cloud backup speed 13x faster than appliance cloud backup speeds and 2.5x faster than backups performed locally to backup appliances.
LabTech Software in April integrated its remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform with Veeam Software, which offers BDR and virtualization management solutions for VMware (VMW) vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments. As part of this integration, the Veeam Backup & Replication solution is now available to MSPs through LabTech Software.
In March, Continuum released Continuity247, a managed backup platform built on R1Soft technology. Continuum and data BDR solutions provider Datto also announced they would stop selling their Vault joint solution.
Carbonite (CARB) last month started offering MSPs a fully integrated job scheduler that eliminates the need for third-party scheduling tools. The Boston-based BDR solutions provider updated its MailStore Server email archiving solution to enable MSPs to automate all security and maintenance tasks, including backups, data verification and compacting of databases.
Intronis in June unveiled the Summer Release '15 of Intronis ECHOplatform. This release includes a revamped dashboard and an Executive Summary report generator.
Datto announced several additions to its BDR portfolio at this year's Datto Partner Conference in New Orleans. The company's new releases included a Linux Agent for its BDR backup platform, an Office 365 backup solution and a cloud-based router with 4G failover capabilities.
Axcient in February began offering an up-front compensation model for value-added resellers (VARs) that sold its recovery-as-a-service technology. In addition, Axcient announced a $25 million round of funding to create the capital structure to support this new model.
