Panda's Partner Tool Manages Customers in the Cloud

Last time we checked in Panda Security, it had just launched the Panda Cloud Office Protection suite, specifically tailored for channel partners. Now Panda is showing more love for the channel with its new Panda Cloud Partner Center, a free tool designed to help partners and service providers manage customer product life cycles. Panda Cloud Partner Center works through a simple web-based console, enabling partners to check up on customer information.

Panda Cloud Partner Center makes it easy to see whether, for example, a customer’s trial has expired, and shows which other customers need to renew their licenses. According to Panda Security, the Panda Cloud Center can also provide information that could close deals more quickly, manage customer licenses and check security endpoints remotely. If necessary, partners can even deploy and implement new security services or generate custom executive reports. Panda believes better insight into customer information can enable more cross-selling opportunities and help partners find margin-boosting sales through volume license-purchasing. More tangibly, Cloud Partner Center enables partners to remotely check a customer’s infrastructure, which avoids time-consuming onsite visits.
