i365 Signs New Cloud Storage Solutions Integrators

i365, the cloud storage subsidiary of Seagate, says three more solution providers have joined up to resell and deploy EVault Cloud-Connected solutions. New partner recruits Mainline Information Systems, SoftwareONE and Technology Integration Group (TIG) apparently validate the i365 cloud channel partner strategy.

According to i365’s press release, Mainline, SoftwareONE, and TIG all joined up under the highest level of partnership, which means they’ll market, distribute, service, and support the whole range of EVault products, from software to the Plug-n-Protect storage appliance to the EVault for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager.

EVault’s gual is to combine the best of on-premises storage with a cloud-connected solution that helps customers keep backup data offsite and in a secure cloud but quickly available when needed. Also, i365’s newly-revamped partner program is designed to help partners find new value-added service and upsell opportunities around that hybrid cloud approach for customers that know and trust them.

Recent i365 initiatives like the Cloud Connected Service Provider program show that they’re a company looking to get themselves into the channel’s good graces. And it’s not hard to see how these cloud service provider sign-ups could be seen as a validator of that strategy.
