SAP co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe announced the general availability of the majority of core SAP Business Suite on HANA at Sapphire Now on Wednesday.

SAP (NYSE: SAP) announced the general availability of the SAP Business Suite applications powered by SAP HANA at Sapphire Now May 15. The announcement was made by SAP co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe during his keynote discussion. What’s included in the general availability of SAP’s solution? Read on for the details.

First, the general availability of SAP Business Suite aims to offer real-time business insight and business transactions for innovative product and service offerings, as well as operational models.

“Business is very much like nature,” Snabe said during his keynote speech, “but in nature, evolution happens through mutations that happen over millions of years. In business, we call these innovations.”

By powering SAP HANA with SAP Business Suite, the company believes that businesses can leverage the solution for various business scenarios: marketing analysis, financial close, receivables management and consumer and social sentiment analysis, as well as the most used operational reporting and analytics.

“We are committed to deliver the most exciting user experience in the industry,” he said. “HANA is the biggest innovation of the last 20 years in business software.”

Additionally, SAP Business Suite on HANA aims to enable business partners and consumers to integrate social media and unstructured data in a single system.

Before SAP made the solution available to all, the company worked with more than 100 partners to test it out, Snabe noted.

During a group discussion, McLaren Group Executive Chairman Ron Dennis said, “SAP HANA is simplistic, speedy and fit to scale.”

He asked partners and customers to join SAP as the leader of the jungle. “The rules in nature are simple: You are at the table eating or you’re on the table,” he said.
