PRESS RELEASE — MSP SUMMIT/CHANNEL PARTNERS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT — ORLANDO, FL — Sept. 13, 2022 — HacWare, Inc. (Booth 301), an automated cybersecurity awareness training platform aimed at simplifying the training process for MSPs and improving the education process for end-users announces today a goal to donate $5,000 to nonprofits by October 31, 2022 through their VIP Program.

The VIP program invites new and current HacWare MSP partners to refer new MSPs to the HacWare team. Once a new MSP is onboarded, HacWare will make a donation of $100 to the nonprofit of the referrers choice.

HacWare’s Founder and CEO, Tiffany Ricks is looking forward to the opportunity to give back, “This is a full circle moment for me because technology has changed my life. In college one of my first jobs was as an IT help desk technician. Then in 2017 I founded a consultancy that offered managed services, and now I’m using HacWare to work with managed services providers to do our part to give back to nonprofits. I’m excited to kick off this program to benefit some of these great organizations.” Ricks added, “we want to educate as many people as possible about the risks of phishing attacks and the importance of a well-trained team. By sharing HacWare with more MSPs, we’ll be working toward our goals of giving back to the community and spreading awareness.”

The nonprofit donation is the choice of the referrer but HacWare is highlighting three of their favorite charities in focus areas they support, including closing the gender gap in computing (Girls who Code), supporting veteran’s transition into cyber (Hackers for Vets) and supporting victims of cybercrimes (Cybercrime Support Network).

HacWare is a featured sponsor at Channel Future’s MSP Summit in Orlando, FL, September 13 through September 16, 2022. At booth 301, HacWare will be offering another opportunity to give back. If an attendee schedules a demo while at the event, HacWare will donate $1 to one of the charities listed above. Once the pre scheduled demo is complete, HacWare will increase the donation to $5.

As a strong supporter of organizations teaching women to code and get involved in IT as well as supporting women’s leadership as the former founder of the Female Founders of Dallas organization, Ricks is looking forward to connecting her passion for supporting and uplifting others with her desire to inform and educate people about the ongoing threats of cyberattacks and the advanced phishing landscape of 2022.
