PRESS RELEASE — Informa Tech Channels, home of the Channel Futures and Channel Partners Conference & Expo brands, has appointed channel veteran Annie McKnight as head of sales. She will be responsible for the organization’s sales strategy managing a team of sales professionals who have achieved record-setting performance over the past two years.
McKnight, who is one of the technology industry’s most prolific and accomplished sales professionals, will focus on expanding the organization’s services which are designed to accelerate the growth of technology vendors and suppliers who want to reach the entire channel of technology advisors, agents, MSPs, VARs and IT consultants. McKnight will focus her efforts on driving the growth of the Channel Futures digital platforms, live event services and its channel research offerings. She will work closely with our existing customers while expanding the Informa Tech Channels offerings to a whole new generation of technology vendors and suppliers. In her role, McKnight will access the depth and breadth of Informa’s digital demand generation, events and research services. Informa Tech is one of the technology industry’s largest providers of world-class research, training, events and media.

McKnight joins Informa from The Channel Co. where she most recently served as Sr. Account Director. Her vast industry experience includes more than two decades managing product lines from inception to execution, developing sales teams through mentorship, training and onboarding, building sales forecasts, product pricing, and launching new products to the marketplace. She previously worked at IDG, Ziff-Davis and CMP—which were considered the Big Three in technology publishing and events at the industry’s conception. Her roots in the channel run deep having started her career at Leading Edge Computer Products, a leading PC products supplier, then later Prime Computer.

McKnight will report directly to Danziger and lead an award-winning staff that includes Kimberly Daniels, Director of Media Sales, and Thomas Baker, Director of Event Sales.
