Main channel goal: “To help my partners drive revenue and make it easy for them to do business with US Signal. That is done a number of ways but one of the key areas is being responsive. Being responsive encompasses responding back to calls and e-mails as quickly as possible even if it’s a courtesy call to say that I don’t have an answer but that we’re on it, turning around price quotes and agreements quickly and being sure to follow up on any action items that come out of a customer appointment proactively.”

Biggest challenge: “Juggling customer appointments and keeping up remotely with other partner needs with little delay.”

What traits do you exhibit that you think make a top channel manager? “Focusing on whatever it takes to drive revenue for our partners. Those traits include being responsive; listening to my partners and customers on what they need; communicating and educating partners on our services, pricing, promos and tools; attending customer appointments; having flexibility; simply trying to work harder and smarter.”
