Sophos‘ senior sales leadership team now includes Erin Malone as senior vice president of sales for Americas. Kevin Isaac, senior vice president of sales for EMEA, is new to the company.

It’s a promotion for Malone, who has been with Sophos for five years. Her previous role was vice president of North America channel sales. Before joining Sophos, she was with Arcserve and CA Technologies. She has more than 20 years’ experience leading sales teams and developing strategic partner relationships in cybersecurity.

Isaac joins Sophos from Forcepoint, where he was chief revenue officer. He brings more than 25 years of cybersecurity sales leadership to Sophos. Before Forcepoint, he spent nearly 18 years at Symantec.

In her previous role, Malone created and led Sophos’ partner advisory council (PAC).

“Sophos is committed to arming partners with the industry’s best next-generation cybersecurity solutions and services,” she said. “The threat landscape is evolving, and Sophos is constantly innovating to protect partners and their customers against the most advanced threats.”

Accelerating Transition

Sophos’ transition to a fully next-generation cybersecurity leader is well underway, Malone said.

“And I look forward to accelerating this evolution,” she said. “I’m passionate about helping partners double down on next-generation cybersecurity in order to stay one step ahead of stealthy cybercriminals. And I’ll work closely with them to develop strategic relationships, and streamline growth and revenue opportunities.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in September.

Malone will accelerate growth of Sophos MSP Connect. The program helps MSPs grow their businesses with Sophos’ portfolio of solutions and services.

Moreover, Malone will accelerate Sophos Managed Threat Response. It launched a year ago as a fully managed threat hunting, detection and response service with “an astounding partner response.”

“For both, the partner opportunities are limitless,” she said.

“Erin and Kevin are strategic additions to the Sophos senior leadership team,” said Michael Valentine, Sophos’ chief revenue officer. “And their decades of expertise will be pivotal in helping partners evolve their security strategies to defend against today’s persistent attackers. There is tremendous opportunity for partners worldwide to leverage our strong portfolio of next-generation cybersecurity solutions, and managed threat hunting and response services to protect their customers as they adapt to the constantly changing threat landscape, and needs of remote and onsite workers.”
