Kaspersky has unveiled new United Partner Program enhancements, including a revised rebate system, extended training courses and more rewards for MSPs.

This change allows rebates to become more transparent and predictable, and covers more Kaspersky products and services. Training updates include new courses for MSPs, sales and technical specialists. There are also 10 new authorized training centers across the world.

MSPs will also receive higher rebates and simpler status progression from registered to platinum. This development aligns with Kaspersky’s channel strategy for enhanced partner education and support. It also continues to put a strong focus on enterprise products and MSPs.

“We see a high interest in the market for advanced cybersecurity solutions, and the renewal of the partner program is designed to increase the attractiveness of working with Kaspersky for partners interested in promoting such solutions,” he said. “The second reason for the changes is Kaspersky’s focus on the enterprise market. For us, this is the fastest-growing segment which we continue to actively invest in, and within the partner program update, we set the task of supporting partners investing in Kaspersky enterprise solutions..”

More Aligned with Resellers’ Own Goals

Within the update, monetary benefits are more aligned with the reseller’s own goals, Kaspersky said. Monetary rewards become available for more products, services and premium support included in the company’s price list. This allows IT providers to earn more through selling a wide range of offerings.

Partners can also earn rebates starting from silver status. In addition, they receive a progressive rate while moving to the gold and platinum levels. The rate depends on which solution the sold product belongs to with the initial reward for Kaspersky Security Foundations, and increases for Kaspersky Optimum Security and reaches the maximum at Kaspersky Expert Security solution.

“As customers are interested in more advanced security solutions, this increases the demand for endpoint detection and response (EDR) and managed detection and response (MDR) offerings in the market,” Tolok said. “In enterprise segment, we also see an increase in demand for threat intelligence and industrial cybersecurity. Also, due to the sharp increase in advanced persistent threats (APTs), anti-APT and SIEM solutions are also in the spotlight. Following these trends, we set the task to support partners in their business transformation towards the enterprise cybersecurity market by introducing a progressive system of rebates. Thus, partners who focus more on selling advanced security solutions from Kaspersky enterprise portfolio have the opportunity to receive increased rebates.”

The updated Kaspersky partner program also allows for a single sales target, allowing partners to be more flexible in their priorities and sell any mix of products as they all are accounted for in one target.

Updated Education

Updates in education help IT providers become better versed in the Kaspersky portfolio, and its new products and deployment. This includes the revamped onboarding program for MSPs that simplifies status acquisition, as well as new  product courses including Kaspersky MDR and Kaspersky Secure Remote Workspace.

For pre-sales and tech support experts, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity and Kaspersky EDR Optimum technical courses offer hands-on labs. They’re now available within authorized training centers. The number of centers for specialized technical education also increases globally. Two new centers already opened in the Middle East and Africa. More will open in APAC, Europe, Latin America and Africa by the end of 2022.

The program provides MSPs with an increase in rebate rates for products included in the MSP program. These offerings include Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, Kaspersky EDR, Kaspersky MDR service, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity and many more.

To help MSPs advance through from registered to silver, gold and platinum status faster, and get more privileges with each level, Kaspersky introduced five-times multiplier for MSP subscription sales. This allows them to reach the target for the next status.
