Friday's Last Word: Convirture CEO Arsalan Farooq — Who is he?

Convirture CEO Arsalan Farooq founded the cloud and virtualization management company more than seven years ago to address several challenges in the IT industry.

Prior to Convirture, Farooq was the founding director of the application service level management (ASLM) division at Oracle, where he was responsible for all aspects of market strategy and product development. Before taking on the leadership role at Oracle, Farooq held various positions with the company.

What does he have planned for the rest of the 2014?

Farooq told Talkin' Cloud that the company's "technology and platform coverage is now where it needs to be so that our goal is to double our commercial customer count by the end of the year, then we’ll be positioned for our first funding round to propel further growth."
