Ephesoft, the provider of enterprise content capture and data-discovery offerings, has launched its expanded Global Partner Program, designed to meet the changing needs of its diverse partner community.

The program offers training and support, including computer-based and onsite training, as well as advanced courses in multiple locations around the world. It also includes four levels: platinum, gold, silver and authorized referral partners.

New partners and resellers will on-board with this new program. The company has more than 250 partners in 50 countries across six continents.

Tim McMullin, Ephesoft’s vice president of channel sales for the Americas, tells channel Partners there is a growing need for cloud offerings, which have a different pricing structure, “so we needed to address that segment.”

“Also, we recognized the need for a mutually beneficial relationship as we continue to grow and want to reward top performing partners with new tier levels,” he said. “Through this expansion, our partners are asking for deal registration, so we have incorporated that into our new program.”

Ephesoft vetted the program with several partners before releasing it, McMullin said. It took their needs and requests into consideration, and included that into the program, he said.

“We’re enabling our partners to sell Ephesoft solutions easier and faster, with more protection from deal registration,” he said. “We’re also addressing the changing nature of selling cloud solutions by leading the market to the cloud, which was not previously part of the original program. Simply put, we’re making it easier to do business with us.”

The program is designed to accommodate the varying needs of five different categories of partners: channel, global alliance, delivery, technology and OEM. Partner management is based on a variety of factors including size, revenue, geographic coverage and type.

“We enjoy working with the Ephesoft team as they truly understand the value of the business partner relationship,” said Gerry Manna, president of Computer SI, a gold-level partner. “They get that collaborating together with qualified and certified partners becomes an extension of their company, both sharing the same mission to succeed. They’re one of the few software developers in the enterprise capture space that has this mindset.”
