CHANNEL PARTNERS — Colotraq (Booth 865) is debuting DCI Traq, which it’s dubbing as the first cloud-based software for sourcing of data center infrastructure services.

Colotraq said the custom-developed proprietary software will enable agents and clients to research, compare and purchase colocation, managed hosting and cloud services through its network of more than 400 service providers.

This includes more than 70 enterprise cloud services providers and access to more than 3,000 colocation and managed hosting facilities around the globe.

“This robust new software is truly an industry first and highly innovative in its design and will invariably revolutionize the way our clients and agents source Data Center Infrastructure services such as colocation, managed hosting, cloud and related network services,” Colotraq CEO Dany Bouchedid said.

DCI Traq incorporates a customizable algorithm that matches project requirements to the offerings and capabilities that vendors have specified in the system. A user then can launch a comparison chart that highlights the matching vendors’ capabilities and offerings.

“As an additional layer of educating and empowering our clients on the various service offerings of our vendors, the system will have a fully integrated Center of Intelligence that will empower clients and agents to view all sorts of content such as sales and marketing collateral, whitepapers, events, promotions among other content that our vendors upload,” Colotraq COO Lou Peccoralo said.

Colotraq said it will continue to provide dedicated, full-service, hands-on client consultation and management of the projects as well as all the associated back-office support. DCI Traq also is designed to permit Colotraq’s agent partners to private brand it as their own and push it to their sub-agents as well as their clients.

Further, the software’s data mining and reporting capabilities will allow users to see all of their project history, all communications on a particular deal, historical revenue and agent commission information through full integration with Colotraq’s cloud-based accounting platform, and an array of real time metrics.

Colotraq is launching DCI Traq as license-free software for clients and agent partners. The company is planning to roll out the software in phases over the next several months to ensure a seamless migration of its existing clients and agents from legacy systems.
