Channel Partner Program Roundup: En Pointe, Ideacom Network

The dog days of summer have set in, and that means life is moving a little slower for most folks. Not so much in the channel, however, as the Channel Partner Program Roundup shows. This week we’ve got news from En Pointe Technologies and The Ideacom Network consortium, so let’s get moooving.

En Pointe Technologies: The national solution provider is now offering Brainshark’s SlideShark Team Edition cloud-based slide-sharing collaboration application. According to En Pointe, the partnership extends SlideShark’s reach and channel relationships and helps En Pointe’s customers maximize the value of their iPad investments by providing the ability for PowerPoint presentations to render properly on those devices.

En Pointe was selected by Brainshark due in part to its ability to help customers with large-scale iPad deployments and management of Apple (AAPL) products throughout their lifecycle. In addition, as a Microsoft (MSFT) systems integrator-large account reseller (LAR), En Pointe offers volume licensing and authorized implementation services for the entire Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint.

In other En Pointe news, the company was recently awarded WR (Western Region) LAR Partner of the Year by Microsoft at the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. En Pointe was selected for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

“This Microsoft Partner of the Year award validates our commitment to drive innovative solutions around the Microsoft portfolio,” said Bob Bogle, senior vice president, sales, En Pointe Technologies. “This accreditation builds further momentum as we continue to differentiate ourselves in the channel, supporting the devices and services mantra from Microsoft.”

Ideacom Network: The national organization of independent voice and data providers with a goal of providing its members with the highest quality products at a cost advantage, The Ideacom Network now includes more than 100 voice and data resellers nationwide.

The Ideacom Network provides VAR members to be a part of a $300 million organization that pools resources to improve purchasing power for increased margins and offers educational programs, shared best practices and group health insurance, according to the group. Membership benefits include:
