DLT Solutions: The government IT hardware, software and services solution provider was named Partner of the Year for Public Sector by Red Hat (RHT) during the company’s North American Partner Conference in Orlando earlier this month.
DLT received the award for its ability to deliver open source solutions to public sector customers and for its joint efforts with Red Hat’s public sector business, according to the announcement.
“As one of Red Hat’s largest government resellers, DLT Solutions provides its public sector customers with trusted open source technologies from Red Hat that help create efficiencies, meet mission-critical IT demands, and improve service delivery,” said Jim Propps, DLT Solutions’ director of the Enterprise Platforms Division, in a statement.
CA Technologies: IT management software and solution vendor CA Technologies was another big winner at Red Hat’s North American Partner Conference after receiving the company’s Innovation Partner of the Year award.
CA Technologies was honored for its ability to deliver unique open source solutions to customers as well as its joint efforts with Red Hat surrounding the CA Software as a Service platform, which uses Red Hat’s OpenShift cloud computing and container technology, according to the announcement.
“This award validates our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the best open source solutions to truly meet their needs,” said Alyssa Fitzpatrick, senior vice president of CA Technologies’ Global Partner Organization. We’re honored that they have chosen us as an Innovative Partner of the Year.”
Savvius: Network performance management solution provider WildPackets has rebranded as Savvius, Inc. to reflect the company’s emphasis on utilizing its network investigation expertise to to provide customers with security forensics. The rebranding is effective immediately.
Savvius also announced its new flagship product, Savvius Vigil, which is being billed as the first security appliance to allow professionals to access network packet data weeks, months and years after security issues occur, according to the announcement.
“This name change comes at a defining moment in our history,” said Tim McCreery, CEO of Savvius. “We are deepening our commitment to network performance management solutions and expanding our focus to include support for security forensics. Our team is united in providing great solutions and world-class support to our customers and partners.”
