“While we’ve always focused on delivering best-in-class products and solutions, we’ve put fresh energy into our channel-focused offerings to help our partners sell more effectively and successfully,” Ballejos said. “Combining resources across key areas of sales and support, the new Black Box Velocity Partner Program delivers a wide array of tools our partners can use to kick sales into high gear.”

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

Benefits of joining the Black Box Velocity Partner Program include access to evaluation units for installation and testing. They also include reduced-cost products for demos and for sales and technical staff training. VARs and other resellers can earn incentives for sales, registrations, authorizations and other customer loyalty activities. Additionally, Velocity Partner Program members can get a 4% discount for any sale to federal, state, or local government body. Moreover, sales for the education market are part of the discount. When Black Box is in competition to win business, partners can get a pricing edge with the “meet comp” program.

The company is in phase one of the rollout, which covers North America and Latin America. There are plans to expand the program internationally soon. Moreover, all partners begin as ruby partners and then qualify for training and authorization across one or more of three key areas – pro IoT, pro AV, pro KVM – or as an authorized partner for all professional products.
