A new channel chief will oversee the Spectrum Business Partner Program.

Recently promoted Keven Clifton will function as the leader of the program, which is the coax arm of the Spectrum Partner Program. Spectrum announced the promotion in a letter to partners earlier this month, and a spokesperson confirmed the news to Channel Futures on Tuesday.

Clifton will report to Brian Miller, group vice president of direct sales. The job puts Clifton in charge of “strategies, policies, plans and partnerships with Spectrum’s channel partners.” Michelle Kadlacek remains channel leader for Spectrum Enterprise.

Clifton replaced Chris Czekaj, who left Charter in March. Czekaj now serves as senior vice president of strategic sales for fertility benefits provider Progyny. Czekaj worked almost five years at Charter, serving as  VP of strategic channels and Spectrum Business channel chief.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in March.

Clifton previously was Charter’s vice president of SMB sales operations. Before that, he was senior director of sales for the Florida region. Clifton came to Charter from Bright House Networks, which Charter bought in 2015.

Spectrum last week honored Telarus, Intelisys and AppSmart as the top performers in its 2021 Spotlight Award winners. The company also recognized Avant for top year-over-year growth.

The services provider earlier this year enhanced its Managed Edge Services portfolio with new remote access, teleworker and virtual edge features.
