While cybersecurity attacks impact every market vertical, one managed services provider (MSP) is narrowing its focus by responding to the security needs of its largest group of customers: hedge fund firms.
Eze Castle Integration, an MSPmentor 501 company, has expanded its Information Security Consulting Service to assist customers with satisfying the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) cybersecurity guidelines.
To do this, the Stamford, Conn.-based company will leverage its consultants to develop Written Information Security Policies (WISP) for its customer base, which consists of more than 650 alternative investment firms.
The company said these policies will address the administrative and technical safeguards a firm needs to withstand a cybersecurity incident and demonstrate preparedness.
Key elements of WISP will include operational and technical risk assessment; administrative and technical security olicies and procedures; execute safeguards; and train and maintain program.
“Our team has created Written Information Security Policies for clients since 2009 and extending this service to focus on SEC cybersecurity guidelines is a natural extension of our team’s experience,” Eze Castle Integration Managing Director Bob Guilbert said in a prepared statement.
Eze Castle also recently expanded its collaboration with SunGard, a software and technology services company, to provide customers with greater access to trading counterparties.
