First Job:
Ryan: My first real job out of college was at WANG Laboratories, located in their HQ in Lowell, Massachusetts. The role was in their Bids & Proposals group and my job was responding to RFP's in support of a bunch of sales people. It was then that I decided to pursue a career in sales. The real life learning experience was my feeble attempt to pursue a date in the office with this girl named Laurie, who wanted NOTHING to do with me. Years later as I was well into my sales career, I learned that Laurie had married Dr Wang's number 1 son, Freddie Wang. This helped keep my ego in check for decades to come.
