TD Synnex Cyber Range to Showcase Infoblox Networking, Cybersecurity Solutions

Infoblox has partnered with TD Synnex to make its DDI solutions and BloxOne Threat Defense available in the distributor’s Cyber Range training facility.

Whether on-site or online, partners can bring customers to receive trainings on Infoblox’s networking and security services. Partners can schedule these customer visits through TD Synnex or their Infoblox channel account manager.

DDI is short for the integration of domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP,) and IP address management (IPAM).

Scott Willock is Infoblox‘s senior director of global distribution.

“TD Synnex is a strategic distribution partner with Infoblox,” he said. “Showcasing our technologies at their Cyber Range deepens our partnership.”

Seeing Infoblox Products in Action

The TD Synnex Cyber Range gives partners and customers an opportunity to see Infoblox’s products in action and to test drive them, Willock said. It provides a real-world experience of its products for practitioners.

“Our goal is to educate partners and customers,” he said. “Our channel partners drive more than 95% of our business. Seeing is believing. Getting the opportunity to experience how our products work in a real-world environment makes it easy for partners and customers to evaluate our products. They get to test drive the simplified networking and security experience they would have read about. It gives them confidence that we deliver the most extensive capabilities for DDI, which the Cyber Range also hosts, and can accelerate their threat hunting.”

Through the Cyber Range, customers can watch demos and run tests. Infoblox’s networking products, network identity operating system (NIOS) and BloxOne DDI own more than 50% of the DDI market share.

With 1.2 million DNS queries flowing through the TD Synnex Cyber Range network last month, customers can also correlate IP traffic down to the device level, and see BloxOne Threat Defense blocking malicious domains and accelerating threat hunts.

TD Synnex is the only distribution partner Infoblox works with that has a training facility of this scale, Willock said. However, it has additional partnerships in AMS, EMEA and APJ. Those generate “strong revenue” from selling Infoblox’s cloud-first DDI and DNS-based security services.
