Cloud services provider Fusion has tapped an experienced member of the channel to lead its marketing efforts.

Gina Kennedy-Toney is now serving as vice president of marketing for the New York-based company. Fusion promoted her from senior director of marketing into the new role, where she will support the company’s “key growth initiatives.”

“Fusion is growing exponentially and has aggressive plans for continued expansion,” said Fusion President and COO Don Hutchins. “Gina has the passion and the drive of a true marketing professional, and has demonstrated the ability to perform the multiple roles that a marketing leader must assume to be successful within a rapidly growing company.”

Kennedy-Toney has been working at Fusion since 2015. She previously directed marketing for X4 solutions, PGi and Actsoft. She also led channel marketing for Nortel Networks and Intercall, and she worked as a senior channel manager at Genesys.{ad}

She now reports to Jan Sarro, executive vice president of marketing and business development for Fusion.

“Gina has the passion as well as the experience to understand, communicate and execute the marketing strategies and campaigns that drive revenue,” Sarro said. “She leads by example, motivates those around her and is highly respected by her peers in the industry.”
