Vectra AI partners across the Americas have a new leader in Sectigo vet Bonnie Simmons. She’s been appointed vice president of partner sales for the Americas.

In her new role, Simmons will be responsible for managing Vectra’s indirect sales business across key regions. She will bolster the Vectra MSSP offering.

In addition, she’ll forge relationships with Vectra‘s strategic channel partners, including VARs, distributors, SIs and service providers, to enable them to drive sales while Vectra focuses on customer success.

Simmons has 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, including managing channels and alliances. She’ll propel the company’s success in cybersecurity.

Before joining Vectra, Simmons was Sectigo‘s vice president of enterprise channel sales. There, she was a member of the global enterprise management team. She developed the company’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy for industry partners, distributors, alliances, service provision as a platform and VARs, and led the global partner program and partner sales.

“We are aligning our channel strategy to narrow our focus on key partners in the Americas,” Simmons said. “We have a definitive opportunity to help our partners build robust threat detection capabilities and security services by leveraging Vectra’s network detection and response (NDR) and Siriux Office 365 capabilities.”

Simmons plans to evangelize the value of Vectra to the cybersecurity company’s partner community.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in February.

“We are an amazing company with cutting-edge technology,” she said. “Our powerful suite of tools enables our partners to secure their customers in today’s threat environment. ”

Simmons said Vectra‘s biggest challenge is helping its partner’s customers be more secure.

“We are in unprecedented times with cyberattacks from nation-states deeply impacting customers globally,” she said. “Vectra is uniquely positioned to help defend customers and partners alike against those threats, and deal with the new normal in cyber warfare.”

Randy Schirman is Vectra’s worldwide vice president of partnerships.

“Bonnie has proven experience in developing marketing plans, overseeing and leading sales strategy execution, and developing strategic partnerships and alliances designed to accelerate sales,” he said. “With her impressive track record of driving growth, we are looking forward to having her on the team as the Vectra platform expands to deliver the most comprehensive end-to-end security protection.”
