Mimecast, which went private this year, has lost its global channel leader. Jonathan Corini has left his role as Mimecast’s senior vice president of global channels.

Corini took the role with Mimecast in October 2020. Before that, he was Forescount’s vice president of worldwide channel sales. He was with Forescount for more than three years.

Before Forescount, he held roles with Tanium and Intel Security.

Corini announced his departure from Mimecast on LinkedIn.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in November.

“After two-plus rewarding and exciting years, I’ve decided to leave Mimecast,” he said. “I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my team and our partners for an amazing two years. I’m very proud of all of the accomplishments we’ve achieved to advance our channel program, processes and overall business. I’d like to thank Dino DiMarino for hiring me and giving me the opportunity to build such a great team. I greatly enjoyed working with you my first year when you were CRO. I’d also like to thank Peter Bauer for his support and guidance. You are one of the most caring and honorable CEOs I’ve had a chance to work with. I look forward to watching Mimecast’s future successes and I wish you all the best.”

We couldn’t reach Mimecast for more on Corini’s departure and if the company has replaced him.

In May, Permira completed its $5.8 billion acquisition of Mimecast. Mimecast was the latest email security provider to go private. The deal followed Thoma Bravo acquiring email security provider Proofpoint.
