Netskope partners will gain a competitive advantage in secure access service edge (SASE) through the company’s acquisition of Infiot.

That’s according to Melissa Nacerino, Netskope‘s vice president of global channels and alliances marketing. Infiot enables secure, reliable access with zero trust security, network and application optimization, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven operations.

Netskope isn’t saying how much it’s paying for Infiot.

Infiot is the foundation of the new Netskope Borderless WAN solution. This acquisition, which follows Netskope’s acquisition of WootCloud in June, will allow Netskope to transform how networking and security converge.

Easier SASE Journey for Netskope Partners, Customers

“Hybrid work is the new normal, cloud apps are everywhere and organizations are rapidly adopting SASE as the networking and security architecture of the future,” Nacerino said. “Channel partners that can design, advise on and implement SASE will see the lion’s share of success. Netskope is committed to making the SASE journey that much easier for partners and customers. Now, with borderless WAN, partners can offer a converged SASE platform from a single vendor, or use Netskope services in combination with other networking and infrastructure vendors with which Netskope partners and integrates. A perfect example of this is our strong integration partnership with Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) company.”

Partners can offer a solution that applies uniform security and quality of experience (QoE) policies to a wide range of hybrid work needs, she said.

“For our mutual customers, all of these capabilities are delivered in a single architecture, using one policy framework and one console, which dramatically simplifies operations, preserves network performance and ensures SASE success,” Nacerino said. “This is a powerful story for partners.”

Delivering on the Promise of SASE

“Today, many-to-many secure optimized connectivity is required to address any user, device and location, in combination with a zero-trust approach that integrates seamlessly with security service edge (SSE),” he said. “…  The combination of Infiot and Netskope will deliver on the promise of SASE like no other technology vendor can.”

In addition to offering borderless WAN capabilities, Netskope integrates with key SD-WAN partners. That ensures customers benefit from Netskope Intelligent SSE in mixed environments, while maintaining flexibility and choice in vendor partners.

Netskope has always taken a pragmatic approach to raising capital and making acquisitions, Nacerino said.

“We aim to consistently increase the value-add we bring to our partners,” she said. “And with the acquisition of Infiot, we’re combining two richly complementary product suites to be the solution of choice for the SASE journey.”
