Welcome to the Channel Futures DE&I 101. This list recognizes individuals from diverse and multicultural backgrounds who are changing the face of the telco/cable and IT industry through their words, actions and leadership.

The need for diversity, equity and inclusion has been acknowledged in the tech industry for many years. But its importance received new attention and emphasis after the events of 2020. And while many tech organizations are launching DE&I programs, it’s the people at the grassroots level who got things started and are keeping the momentum going. These people deserve recognition and a platform within the Channel Futures DE&I community.

The application for the list is open now and will remain open until June 15.

You can self-nominate or submit an application to nominate someone else. The application is open to managers, leaders and individual contributors in the tech channels. This includes those working for vendors, tech suppliers, service providers, MSPs, agents, master agents, solution providers, and IT and telecom consulting firms. Individuals in channel-related organizations that support the industry — analysts, marketing firms and association — are eligible as well.

The Channel Futures editorial team will review all Channel Futures DE&I 101 applications. They will receive input from our advisory boards, the Allies of the Channel Council and other industry members. We will be looking at each applicant’s accomplishments, their efforts to demonstrate the impact of diversity, equity and inclusion on business results and how their words and actions have impacted the industry.
