Cloud distributor Pax8 just secured agreements with five more prominent vendors.

As a result, the company says its partners in Europe get two main benefits. First, they can get access to products through these vendors for the first time. Second, they get what comes with the Pax8 platform.

The New Pax8 Vendors

The first agreement is with Axcient, the backup and disaster recovery software provider. Axcient says its direct-to-cloud service reduces costs by eliminating the need for expensive appliances. The company also designed its technology to reduce the risk of threats such as ransomware and natural disasters. Furthermore, Axcient’s single platform for endpoint, server and cloud backup aims to dramatically improve management efficiency.

Pax8 also is partnering with BitTitan, the cloud migration specialist. The company offers quick configuration through a single SaaS interface. Partners also get access to full data encryption, product audit trail logging and enterprise features. BitTitan touts a quick cloud migration for email, files and other workloads “from nearly any source to any destination.”

A deal with Proofpoint, the cybersecurity services, compliance and training provider, means partners can protect customers with phishing and malware detection. Proofpoint also offers visibility into data exposure, and access to threat simulation tools.

Another Pax8 agreement is with Nuvolex, which offers automation that simplifies tasks and workflow processes for businesses. Nuvolex says its platform helps partners manage and number of tenants and the workloads they use. It also tracks license consumption and monitors service usage. Furthermore, partners can delegate IT administrative access rights in one click, and access advanced auditing and reporting capabilities.

The final deal is with novaSOC, which runs a virtual security operations center in the cloud. novaSOC empowers partners to deliver enterprise-grade security monitoring to their customers. The company says it gives partners an affordable option for advance solutions such as automatic incident reporting, endpoint reporting, remediation suggestions and detailed analytics.

Hybrid Model

Pax8 UK’s Robert Belgrave

Robert Belgrave is chief executive officer at Pax8 UK.

“As we emerge from the pandemic and companies head back into offices, most will maintain some aspect of remote work, creating a new hybrid model,” said Belgrave. “Through these global agreements, Pax8 partners in the U.K. can provide their clients additional technologies and advanced solutions that will empower their success in the new work environment.”

These new agreements with vendors are part of a big Pax8 push into the U.K. The company just opened its doors for business there in January. The move came after its acquisition of Wirehive and subsequent influx of $96 million in new capital.
