VCE is expanding its Certified Professional Program with new certifications for converged infrastructure professionals. The company’s new Manage Track is expected to help IT professionals further develop data center transformation by focusing their training on real-world expertise.
The Manage Track includes three certifications, according to a press release:
VCE Certified Converged Infrastructure Master Administration Engineer – Certifies highly advanced knowledge and skills in administering Vblock Systems
VCE Certified Converged Infrastructure Administration Engineer – Validates day-to-day skills in operating Vblock Systems for administration
VCE Certified Converged Infrastructure Associate – Confirms basic skills and knowledge associated with Vblock System
Since forming the Certified Professional Program in April, VCE has certified more than 4,000 converged infrastructure professionals, according to a blog post. VCE also offers Design and Deploy track certifications for professionals looking to increase their skillsets.
“With the right skills, training and technology in place, VCE converged infrastructure certifications help put IT professionals on the path to becoming great converged infrastructure professionals, providing data center transformation to enterprises around the world,” said Nina Hargus, chief marketing officer at VCE, in a blog post.
Earlier this month, VCE certified PernixData’s FVP software as a Vblock Ready solution through the company’s Technology Alliance Partner program, which means the solution has been verified to work with Vblock systems. In October, VCE unveiled several new Vblock Systems, integrated solutions and technology extensions as part of its product portfolio, including the all-flash-based Vblock System 540.
