Here’s a little something to think about over the weekend: Who are the best MSPs in the world? What strategies, logic and downright brilliant decisions did they make in 2022 to reach the pinnacle of today’s market? What are they doing to be even better in 2023 and beyond? And, of course, the most important question: Did my company make the Channel Futures 2023 MSP 501 winners list?!

OK, maybe it’s a really big something. We’ll start answering those questions and more on Monday when Channel Futures begins unveiling the highly anticipated 2023 MSP 501, now in its 17th year. Here’s how the launch will work:

On Monday, at 6 a.m. ET, Channel Futures will begin revealing the ranks of the 501ers, in descending order beginning with 501, here. The lists will also be prominent on the Channel Futures home page. Each day next week we’ll announce two groups of 50 winners. One will be revealed in the morning, the other in the afternoon. Talk about great side dishes for your breakfast and lunch. Be sure to check back and find out where you placed.

Shout Out to the Top 100 on the MSP 501 Winners List

And what about the top 100 501ers? Don’t they get any special treatment based on their incredible performances? We’re glad you asked. We’ll airing a free Channel Futures MSP 501 webcast, sponsored by Ingram Micro, June 22 at 2 p.m. The show features channel luminaries who will delve into the report’s key features and reveal the top 100. Please register for free here. We’ll then post the full list of the top 100 the next day, Friday, June 23, for all to see and savor.

That’s certainly not all. For the next several months, Channel Futures will post a series of breakout lists featuring top growers in security and cloud; women-, minority- and veteran-owned MSPs. On July 3, we’ll also launch the NextGen 101 list of up-and-coming MSPs that are quickly blazing their way to the top. And of course, we’ll publish lists that show who are the top MSPs in various global regions and U.S. states.

Nero Consulting’s Anthony Oren

Channel Futures wants to thank all the MSPs who applied to this year’s 501. We know how much it means to you. When we interviewed Anthony Oren, CEO of Nero Technology Consulting, on his company’s impressive performance this year, he was already shuffling around his NextGen 101 and MSP 501 trophies to make room for the new hardware. (On the Teams meet, you really could tell that he keeps them nicely dusted and polished, btw.)

“I love the 501. I keep all the 501 stuff I’ve won up on a shelf so whenever anyone comes in, they’re going to notice it,” he said. “I also inform our customers of it because, at the end of the day, we understand that Channel Futures, Channel Partners [events], and all of the vendors in our industry are important to what we do. Customers see that we win these awards and think that we’re definitely doing something right.”

MSPs are doing many, many things right. That’s what the 501 is all about. Check out Channel Futures, Monday, June 19, to find out who’s on the list.
