Informa Tech vice president of channel Kelly Danziger and senior director of content Bob DeMarzo opened the MSP Summit with a review of the state of the channel and outlined some new initiatives at Channel Futures — including a new consulting and research business.
A panel of M&A experts, led by martinwolf president Tim Mueller as moderator, dove into advice that prepared partners on selling their business, determining their value and potentially taking private investment.
The keynote panel wasn’t the only session focused on mergers and acquisitions.
In this conference education room, Robin Hau of USWired described how partners shouldn’t get too preoccupied in top-line revenue growth and instead should focus their energy on gross margin and net cash results.
Danny Jenkins, CEO of MSP Summit title sponsor ThreatLocker, discussed the reasons for endpoint security and how MSPs can adopt it for their customers to give themselves an operational advantage.
A panel of MSP 501ers, some of the most successful managed service providers in the world, took to the stage to offer practical business advice.
Channel Futures extended the application date for the MSP 501 until May 15 for those in attendance at the conference.
That’s the team from Entara — CEO and president Pamela Diaz, and director of professional services Mike Brunetti — discussing how their company became an “extended service provider” and ways partners in the audience might consider doing the same.
Channel Futures and the Channel Partners Conference & Expo are proud to support diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the industry.
Attendees packed the keynote room for lunch and to hear power players in DE&I.
Our 2023 DE&I 101 application just opened last month. Learn more about the list here.
Cisco‘s Mike Herrmann told the crowd about Webex Wholesale, a new route-to-market offer that enables partners to deliver managed services, bringing the fully integrated collaboration of Webex to customers.
Ron Lovern (left) of Triton Networks, an MSP, led a panel of MSP owners and insiders to discuss how managed service providers can use concerns of an uncertain economic climate to their advantage.
IBM‘s Tamer Osman grabbed the mic to tell partners how Big Blue has reinvented itself. In the session, titled, “The Modern IBM, Partnering with Hyperscalers, and Why Now?” Osman explained how IBM is helping partners overachieve their business growth objectives with a modernized focus, product portfolio and programs.
The keynote room was more full for the MSP Summit than it has ever been.
Len DiCostanzo, CEO of MSP Toolkit, led a three-part workshop that gave MSPs a ton of advice on how to better run their businesses.
The workshop focused on building and managing a sales pipeline; MSP finance 101; and next-gen MSP platforms.
From hybrid work to a new generation entering the workforce with different expectations, partner businesses have more to think about than merely sales and marketing.
This panel discussed how to navigate these challenges.
What started a little more than 10 years ago in a small conference room has exploded into what it is today — the channel’s premier women’s organization — the Alliance of Channel Women — along with special guests, filling the keynote room for a fun-filled evening of dinner, networking and a program.
We closed the day at Tao Beach Club along with hundreds of our closest friends for the Amongst the Stars party. The event featured food, beverages, a DJ and dancing poolside.

The evolution of the Channel Partners Conference & Expo (CP Expo) has been nothing short of amazing. As of Tuesday morning, the 8,000 attendee mark was in reach, which would shatter another record for the event.
What used to be half-day preconference on day one has exploded into a full-blown day of keynotes and education sessions that compose the MSP Summit. We put together a capsule of what you might’ve missed — or if you’d like to relive your Monday experience.
From the CP Expo keynotes to the conference sessions to the Alliance of Channel Women event and the welcome party, we have highlights in the image gallery above.
