Radiflow, the provider of industrial cybersecurity solutions for industrial automation networks, has launched a partner program for MSSPs to offer operational technology (OT) cybersecurity services.

Radiflow’s new OT MSSP partner program provides the framework for MSSPs to offer new cybersecurity services dedicated to industrial control systems/supervisory control and data acquisition (ICS/SCADA) networks to their industrial enterprise and critical infrastructure customers.

Radiflow’s Ilan Barda

Ilan Barda, Radiflow’s CEO, tells us in recent years his company has seen many end-user customers that deployed new OT cybersecurity solutions, but were unable to operate them effectively and generate value from the technologies. This triggered the idea for the new OT MSSP partner program, he said.

“We initially experimented with a number of local MSSPs to offer managed OT cyberanalytics services,” he said. “We quickly saw that there was interest from our initial set of MSSP partners to expand their services to offer more value to their customers. Equally as important, the response from end customers was also strong, with many expressing the need to fill the gap they were experiencing in properly managing OT cybersecurity solutions.”

This offering is aimed at MSSPs that already provide IT cybersecurity services and are looking to enter the OT space, as well as industrial engineering companies that are interested in expanding their service offerings to include cybersecurity services.

The program is based on the company’s iSID Industrial Threat Detection System running in an MSSP partner’s cloud environment. iSID can be utilized by a MSSP as the starting point for an ongoing network monitoring service that involves building a network topology map of all devices, connections, ports and data traffic flows on an OT network and handling alerts to any changes to this baseline understanding.

As part of an ongoing networking monitoring service, an MSSP can also use iSID to detect any breach attempts and apply security upgrades to any newly detected devices.

For customers that prefer to maintain cybersecurity operations on premises, Radiflow provides the option of granting the MSSP secure access for network monitoring with an iSID system that is installed at the customer’s facility.

“Today, we are launching a complete framework, including all the required tools, procedures and support for our MSSP partners to offer important OT cybersecurity services,” Barda said. “These OT cybersecurity services can range from straightforward network monitoring to advanced services that utilize the risk scoring algorithm in our technology that takes into account the industrial business processes to prioritize risks and vulnerability remediation activities.”

“We are joining Radiflow’s new OT MSSP partner program at an exciting time in the building security-management space we work in,” said Marc Benattar, CEO at Kalis Consulting in France. “Most of our customers are rapidly introducing new digitally driven, yet technically vulnerable devices to their OT environments. This strategic partnership positions us to provide important OT cybersecurity services for our customers and also to improve our service offering.”
