Named Oxygen, the newest version of SolidFire’s OS introduces significant data assurance functionality that reduces operational overhead and risk with advanced data protection functionality and expanded multi-tenant security features. Building upon seven previous versions, SolidFire’s Element OS continues to deliver the industry’s most comprehensive enterprise feature set for consolidating mixed-workloads onto an agile, automated infrastructure.
Element OS 8 Oxygen introduces key functionality that enhances data protection and further heightens data security. Along with multiple usability enhancements, new capabilities in Oxygen include:

Snapshot Replication – Replicates snapshots to a second site for rollback flexibility.

Expanded VLAN Tagging – Delivers industry-leading support for up to 256 secure, logically isolated, per-tenant storage networks on a single storage platform.
LDAP Authentication – Simplifies management with centralized user account administration.
