EarthLink has launched the EarthLink 365+ collaboration suite, a solution for midsize companies that the company says offers the functionality and familiarity of on-premise offerings and the convenience and cost-effectiveness of the cloud.
EarthLink 365+ offers Real Single Sign-On with active directory integration, allowing customers to use their existing active directory. EarthLink says 365+ has a leg up on Microsoft Office 365 by offering 28 on-premises Microsoft Exchange features delivered over the cloud, including security, administration, applications, client access, compliance/archiving and more.
“We can deliver a cloud-based solution that doesn’t require [businesses] to compromise the security, features or functionality of an on-premise Exchange environment,” said Michael D. Toplisek, executive vice president of sales and marketing at EarthLink. ”EarthLink 365+ offers the best of both worlds, empowering employees to truly collaborate in the cloud and delivers a much richer user experience than others in the market.”
With EarthLink’s acquisition of CenterBeam earlier this year, EarthLink 365+ still unifies cloud versions of Microsoft communications and collaboration products.
