PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS — 2600hz (Booth 600 and a Microsoft Cloud Migration Lab sponsor), the Business Communications Platform, introduced several new products and features designed to extend Service Providers’ capabilities to provide rich Hosted Services to clients.
To address the need for better device provisioning services, 2600hz is pleased to announce the release of Advanced Provisioner – a Unified IP Device Management Platform for Service Providers, Resellers, and Enterprise IT Administrators.
Advanced Provisioner provides IP Device Provisioning as a Service for U.S. & Canadian clients and supports many devices from Yealink, Polycom, and other manufacturers. It makes provisioning devices easier by providing an admin portal for all registered devices, where engineers and system administrators can view and manage devices and settings.{ad}
Advanced Provisioner supports advanced features such as BLF, Line Key, and Hotkey configuration. All functionality is accessible via UI as well as through RESTful APIs to help developers further automate the provisioning process.
Advanced Provisioner provides enhanced security for devices under management by preventing unauthorized parties from provisioning using the customer’s configuration, requiring administrative unlock to reprovision devices, and obscuring Config Files to frustrate scraping tools.
Advanced Provisioner 2.0 is available now to resellers on the 2600hz Hosted Cloud, and is available to self-managed infrastructure clients as a remote hosted service.
