Telarus continues to build momentum around contact center as a service (CCaaS).

Utah-based vendor Nice inContact named Telarus its top master agent for 2018. Telarus earned the highest bookings for 2018 and “continues to deliver consistent revenue growth” selling Nice inContact’s portfolio. Telarus has won the top master agent award with Nice inContact for the last five years if you take into count its 2017 acquisition of CarrierSales, whose strong relationship with the vendor enhanced its reputation for selling CCaaS.

“The commitment Telarus has to Nice inContact and CCaaS has resulted in this amazing achievement for the fifth year in a row,” said Brett Thiesen, Nice InContact vice president of channel sales. “The strong partnership between Nice inContact and Telarus continues to grow, as is proven in yet another record-breaking year and we are excited for what the future holds for both companies.”

Telarus, which is also based in Utah, has been bulking up its contact center team over the last year. It hired a director of contact center and UC solutions last July and a vice president of UCaaS and CCaaS business development in April.

“We are thrilled to achieve this award as top master with Nice inContact again,” said Ray Hicken, Telarus vice president of strategic partnerships. “It is because of our continued commitment to contact center and our desire to help our partners achieve success in this market, that we logically maintain our emphasis and alignment with them. Nice inContact continues to be the leader in this competitive environment and our partners who have focused on contact center have benefited from our relationship with them and their dedicated support of us.”

Fellow masters Avant Communications, TBI and Intelisys earned diamond recognition with the Nice inContact. AT&T and Verizon also slid into the diamond category. RingCentral won top reseller, and Skybox Communications was named a platinum certified implementation partner.

“Nice inContact thanks our partners for their outstanding efforts and results. This well-deserved recognition is a result of our shared commitment to work together for mutual success,” said Paul Jarman, CEO of Nice inContact, “Our partners trust us with their most important and valuable customers and leads. They are an extension of our team and a vital part of helping contact centers win in the customer experience economy.”

Nice acquired inContact in 2016. The combined company was named Telarus’ top performing contact center supplier last year. Theisen told Channel Partners that his organization is expanding internationally with partners “at the core of our strategy.”

“This expansion has led to partnership opportunities for referral agents, carriers, UCaaS providers, VARs and system integrators. Companies of all sizes are looking to modernize with the cloud and improve the customer experience; our partners have the opportunity to introduce them to Nice inContact CXone, [our] cloud customer experience platform,” Theisen said.
