ShoreTel Adds Call Flow Editor Feature to ShoreTel Sky Portal

Unified communications (UC) platform provider ShoreTel today announced the introduction of the Call Flow Editor feature for the ShoreTel Sky Portal, a Web-based VoIP management application.

Call Flow Editor is a graphical interface that enables clients to review and edit call-flow rules in real time with or without the assistance of the ShoreTel Sky support team. The feature gives phone administrators a visual representation of the company call flow and lets them make call flow modifications on the fly without requiring them to be telecom experts or understand advanced telecom terminology. Changes can be made to auto attendants, ring groups, time-of-day routing, dial-by-name directories and profile settings.

Call Flow Editor will be available beginning on Jan. 26, without additional charge, to all current ShoreTel Sky customers.

This is one of the most potent tools that we are able to make available to our customers in the ShoreTel Sky Portal,” said Dan Hoffman, president of ShoreTels Cloud Division. The uncomplicated, visual nature of the tool makes it simple for our business VoIP customers to understand and control the experience of their callers and provide exceptional customer support. Our operations and support teams have been using it for months to configure call flow for our customers and the results, in terms of time savings and customer satisfaction, have been remarkable.”

ShoreTel Sky customers will be invited to attend one of a series of live, Web-based training sessions beginning the week starting Jan. 24. An overview and detailed training videos will also be made available to customers.
