Platinum award

8×8 has honored a third master agent partner for sales success.

The UCaaS vendor gave platinum status to Intelisys. The master agent belongs to the 8×8 Open Channel Program. Program members sell the vendor’s Open Communications Platform, which combines, voice, chat, video and contact center.

John DeLozier, 8×8’s senior vice president and global channel chief, said the vendor and Intelisys help agents capitalize on “one of the most dynamic cloud markets.”

“Intelisys has earned a well-deserved industry reputation as one of the top master agents in the channel, and we heartily applaud their many contributions to the 8×8 Open Channel Program, which has resulted in attaining platinum partner status,” DeLozier said. “It is an outstanding honor that places them in exclusive company within our program, and clearly highlights the successes their sales partners are having moving companies off legacy systems to 8×8 cloud communications solutions.”

Intelisys joins two other master agency partners. We wrote last month that 8×8 gave platinum status to TBI and Avant. VARs, agents and master agents use the program’s resources.

Intelisys’ Mark Morgan

Intelisys president Mark Morgan thanked his engineering team and other Intelisys support resources. He also complimented the 8×8 portfolio.

“We are thrilled to have achieved platinum partner status in the 8×8 Open Channel Program, another exciting milestone in our long-standing partnership,” Morgan said.

Intelisys recently earned major kudos in Masergy’s partner awards. In addition, the cable industry recently acknowledged the company for its sales efforts.

8×8 rolled out the Open Channel Program in July.
