Pure Storage added a consumption-based service model for one of its storage offerings.
The Evergreen Gold model gives Pure Storage ownership over the appliance the customer buys, while the customer subscribes to software, hardware and support.
“We own the gear and the customer continues to drive demand or put new workloads on as they see fit,” Pure Storage’s partner sales leader said.
