Microsoft’s Rodney Clark
In a move that came as a surprise to most outside of Microsoft, channel chief Rodney Clark announced his departure just one year after accepting the job.
Clark has since revealed that effective June 1, he is taking over as chief commercial officer at industrial automation giant Johnson Controls, a company that “has been a great partner to Microsoft,” according to Clark’s former boss, corporate VP Nick Parker.
Clark’s departure comes as Microsoft makes a number of changes to its channel program that have been met with concern by many partners.
