CompTIA CHANNELCON — SaaSMAX on Monday introduced its Cybersecurity SaaS Marketplace white-label platform featuring a catalog of cloud-based security software products for SMB, SME and enterprise companies.

SaaSMAX's Clinton GatewoodIT consultants, VARs and MSPs looking to provide cybersecurity protection to their clients and expand their security services practice can establish their own cybersecurity SaaS web store powered by SaaSMAX, according to the company.

Clinton Gatewood, SaaSMAX’s vice president of partner and reseller development, tells Channel Partners that partners continue to express “strong interest in the need to get their arms around what is available in the cloud security sector, which vendors are the best, which vendors can be trusted, and what vendors have a serious and dedicated, channel-friendly program.”

“On a daily basis, we all hear about another cyberattack putting thousands and millions of user/consumers’ personal information at risk, not to mention the monetary damage/theft of proprietary information or real dollars,” he said. “As the news becomes more prevalent and the attacks more sophisticated, SMBs are pushing their service providers and trusted advisers for security solutions to protect their businesses, employees and clients. SaaSMAX has identified more than 12 categories of cloud-based applications that comprise the cybersecurity threat. The SaaSMAX team is diligently working on recruiting best-of-breed solutions from more than 12 focus areas and aggregating them into the SaaSMAX Cybersecurity Marketplace.”{ad}

Each web store will be equipped with “reseller friendly” security products selected from the SaaSMAX Marketplace catalog, the company said. Also, each store will have “one-stop, quote-to-cash recurring billing functionality to facilitate transactions.” Resellers can market and sell custom bundled services and white-labeled offerings.

Cybersecurity Marketplace charter partners include CompTIA and commercial cybersecurity firm Leidos.

SaaSMAX is “always looking for new partners across multiple disciplines, verticals and client sizes,” Gatewood said. “SaaSMAX feels this is an excellent opportunity for consultants, resellers and VARs to become more involved in the exploding cybersecurity market,” he added.
