Construction is advancing swiftly on Swiss-based Kudelski Group’s second headquarters, in Phoenix, Arizona. In August, Kudelski Security announced the launch of its U.S. presence to meet growing market demand for cybersecurity offerings and managed services.
Kudelski Security is the cybersecurity arm of Kudelski Group, which has 3,500 employees in 32 different countries, and 4,800 patents for its technologies around the world. The Phoenix location will be the U.S. headquarters for the security business, and will house its executive briefing center and Cyber Fusion Center.
“Kudelski Security was operating primarily in Europe, in Switzerland, Germany and France, and had core technologies, labs, consulting services, technology sales and a resale business, and a good book of customers in Switzerland and Europe,” said John Van Blaricum, Kudelski Security’s vice president of global marketing. “As a part of the company’s overall growth, they identified cybersecurity as a worldwide problem and that we needed to grow the business outside of just the Swiss operation. And the United States being the largest cybersecurity market, it offered a great opportunity.”
Channel Partners toured the headquarters now under construction and provides a look at what’s planned. Completion is set for early December.

Kudelski Security HQ: U.S. Presence
Kudelski’s second headquarters will be housed in a multi-story professional building with panoramic views of Phoenix’s Camelback Mountain. Although Kudelski Group’s worldwide headquarters will remain in Switzerland, several high-level management and support functions will be relocated to Phoenix.
Kudelski Security HQ: Now Hiring
A temporary office is now open in the building with the headquarters under construction on the above floor. Job interviews are taking place throughout the day.
“We’ve been bringing people over from Switzerland and hiring people like crazy,” Van Blaricum said. “We’re anticipating 100 people in the next 12 months to add to the team, which is quite a feat considering the state of the employment market … in cybersecurity, it’s hard to find talent.”
Kudelski Security HQ: Technology Partners
The main entrance will be right across the hall from BeyondTrust, one of Kudelski Security’s developer partners.
In May, Kudelski Group acquired cyber- and network-security provider Milestone Systems, which had operations primarily in Minnesota and Atlanta. In addition, Kudelski Security has assembled a growing community of strategic technology partners, including F5 Networks, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike and others.
Kudelski Security HQ: Gourmet Chef!
The headquarters will include a high-end executive kitchen featuring cuisine prepared by a gourmet chef from Switzerland. Van Blaricum (pictured) said the Swiss headquarters also includes gourmet cuisine.
Kudelski Security HQ: Large, Open Space
A large area will house office space for many of the headquarters’ employees. Kudelski Security is aggressively hiring and staffing to expand throughout the United States, Van Blaricum said.
Kudelski Security HQ: Staff
A panoramic view of Camelback Mountain awaits employees when they occupy the new headquarters.
Kudelski Security’s operations include its advisory consulting business, a technology sale and service business, managed security services and its innovation team, which will focus on research.
Kudelski Security HQ: The Boss’ View
André Kudelski, Kudelski Group chairman and CEO, will have an office at the Phoenix headquarters overlooking the Camelback Mountain area.
Kudelski Security HQ: Cyber Fusion Center
The Cyber Fusion Center will feature a curved snap-glass wall, 40 mounted TVs and tiered seating for 40 analysts. A separate “war room” will be available for briefings on threat scenarios.
Kudelski Security HQ: Welcome, Partners!
The spacious headquarters will offer executives and visitors a “high-class, high-polished environment,” Van Blaricum said. Channel partners will be regular visitors.
“We look forward to being able to host our channel partners,” Van Blaricum said. “We’re investing a lot into the facility because we want it to be a showpiece that is a useful part of the sales process and is valuable to our channel partners. We’ll do a lot of product training not only with our end users, but also with our sales teams from around the world.”
Kudelski Security HQ: Server Room
The server room will house all of the security equipment that will be used in the Cyber Fusion Center.
