EarthLink Launches National Master Partner Program

EarthLink Business announced Thursday the launch of its new National Master Program, which seeks to faciliate collaboration among EarthLink’s channel managers, master agents and their subagents to drive sales.

The new program is headed by Sherri Turpin, vice president of channel strategy. Turpin was recruited to EarthLink in October to create the program. Previously, she spent 18 months as national director of partner sales for XO Communications and an additional 16 years in sales for the CLEC. At EarthLink she reports to J.R. Cook, vice president of channel partners.

EarthLink also hired another XO alum, Shirley Ah Sing as senior manager of the National Master Program. Sing will work with Turpin as a key contributor on program execution and development. She spent the last five years managing master agency relationships as a senior business development manager for the partner channel at XO Communications. Prior to that, she had channel management roles at MCI and Qwest Communications.

Shirley has perfected the leadership role as consultant to the masters and aligns with them for maximum scale,” said Turpin in a press statement. “She identifies how to go to market with strategic partners within the masters portfolio and enables them to leverage the products that best suit their business plan. Her ability to gain mindshare is what separates her from her peers, and I envision her changing the game by leveraging her skill set and thinking.”
