Master agency World Telecom Group (WTG) announced the addition of Mark Sondergaard as director of sales and Kelly Wood as sales support specialist, as well as the promotion of Haini Whittington to director of operations.

Sondergaard joined WTG in fourth quarter 2009 to focus on sales in the eastern and central United States. He has more than 23 years of telecom sales and management experience in both direct and channel sales. During his career he has developed agent teams, agent channels and agencies with Sprint, McLeodUSA and Reignmaker Communications.

Wood is the newest member of the WTG team. As sales support specialist, Wood will handle orders and customer services, as well as other sales support functions. She has more than 15 years of experience working for carriers and master agencies. Most recently, she was a provisioning manager for Ancero. Prior to that, she was an agent support manager for CMS. She also has been a service delivery coordinator at MCI.

Whittington has been promoted from project manager to director of operations. In her new role, she will oversee the pre-sales and post-sales within the organization and is developing strategic projects.
