Cloud software company Ormuco on Wednesday unveiled its first global channel partner program for its Ormuco Stack platform.

The partner program features elements designed to support CSPs, MSPs, VARs and ISVs. Maria Dinallo, formerly senior director of channel sales with Parallels, has joined Ormuco as senior channel director to lead the program.

Dinallo tells Channel Partners that Ormuco has built an “ideal cloud platform for the channel.” Launching the program now is a result of product maturity and “having all the pieces in place to effectively execute on a global scale,” she said.

“Resellers, service providers and ISVs can use the platform to deploy agile and architecturally consistent cloud infrastructure and developer resources both on premises and off premises, depending on their customer’s business needs,” she said. “This can be done quickly and reliably with hardware partners like HPE and can leverage the Cloud28+.”

Program benefits include: a rapid go-to-market model with pre-built options that can deploy in days; a partner-branded portal for billing and provisioning; discounts on Ormuco Stack software; reseller licensing rights; access to the Ormuco market development fund program; and the flexibility to define end-customer service bundles, pricing and billing structures.

“The biggest barriers service providers, ISVs and resellers have when trying to bring an easily consumable cloud product to their customers are cost and time,” Dinallo said. “By leveraging open-source technologies, packaging all the necessary OSS/BSS and administrative components, and delivering the same architecture for both on-site and off-site deployments, Ormuco gives the channel a cloud product they can sell with confidence, as customers can move workloads as resources demand and business conditions dictate while maintaining the customer relationship.”

Ormuco’s launch partner for the program is International Integrated Solutions (IIS), an IT services provider.

““The Ormuco Channel Partner Program gives us access to the resources our team needs to help our customers move quickly from legacy infrastructure environments to cloud, regardless of whether they need on premises, off premises or hybrid,” said Jeff Smith, IIS’ vice president of business development. “Ormuco Stack essentially renders the distinction between public and private cloud obsolete, and that’s what our customers are looking for: a way to run their workloads in the location that best supports their business needs. We’re looking forward to working with Ormuco to introduce truly agile cloud to the growing list of enterprises embracing digital transformation.”
