Maker of the MaaS360 mobility management platform, Fiberlink, has made some big name additions to the top of its sales team recently including Apple (AAPL) and Microsoft veteran Francois Daumard as director of channel development. In addition, Fiberlink has hired Eric Cunningham (most recently a regional sales VP for Salesforce.com (CRM)) as VP of North America sales responsible for the sales strategy for MaaS360 in Fortune 1000 accounts.

In his new role at Fiberlink, Daumard will be responsible for scaling Fiberlink's channel program and recruiting new partners for its MaaSters Partner Program, particularly in the SMB space, the company said in a prepared statement, released today, although word of the appointment leaked out over the last few weeks.

Daumard joins Fiberlink from Apple, where he worked to build a channel of iOS integration service partners. Before that, Daumard served in various channel roles at Microsoft for over a decade.

"Over the past year, our channel program has grown quickly and current partners are having great success," said Christopher Clark, president at Fiberlink, in a prepared statement. "Francois brings tremendous leadership, passion and proven channel partner expertise to foster new relationships which we are aggressively pursuing."

Eric Cunningham joins Fiberlink from Salesforce.com, where he focused on strategic and enterprise accounts. Prior to that, Cunningham held sales leadership positions at Microsoft and Oracle.

"The addition of Eric to the team builds upon our culture of focusing on the success of the customer," said Clark, in a statement. "As we continue to invest in both our team and technology, Eric's expertise will help us scale our business and strengthen our position as a trusted enterprise mobility partner."

Fiberlink's MaaSters Partner Program includes resellers, distributors, service providers and technology vendors.

Fiberlink claims more than 5,000 customers around the world, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses.
