Facebook, Angry Birds Apps Blacklisted by U.S. Employers

Vanson Bourne, a content marketing company that Absolute Software hired to conduct the research, surveyed companies in the United States and the United Kingdom to focus on trends and studies in bring your own device (BYOD) and mobile device management (MDM). According to the survey, email applications are most encouraged by IT. Internet browser applications are close behind, ranking second, while shared storage applications rank third. It's interesting to see that some apps are on both lists. When this occurs, we must figure out if the app in question is more than likely going to produce a positive or negative outcome.
