Quest Poised to Open New SDC in Northern California

Tech-management company Quest will open a second Service Delivery Center (SDC) in the Sacramento, Calif., area.

Quest says the new 120,000 square-foot space in Roseville, Calif., used to be home to Hewlett-Packard.

The Roseville site will be Tier 3, SSAE 16 Type II compliant, just like its other SDC in McClellan/Sacramento. Both are conveniently located in what Quest says are data -center safe zones free from natural disasters including seismic activity and flooding.

The decision to expand our network of 22 global SDCs was driven by our customers increased demand to outsource IT infrastructures and lower their capex and opex costs with managed and cloud services,” said Tim Burke, Quest president and CEO. The selection of Roseville represents our thirty year commitment to operate and grow our headquarters in California.”

The Roseville facility has a 24×7 network operations center, and offers colocation, business continuity/disaster recovery, and managed and cloud services such as desktop as a service (DaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Quest says they’re all tailored to meet clients unique business requirements.

The official opening is slated for summer 2014.
