Technology equipment provider Aventis Systems has received Professional Solution Provider Partner status from VMware (VMW), which is expected to help boost the company’s status in the virtual infrastructure space. As the latest of VMware’s Professional Solution Provider Partners, Aventis Systems is now certified to design, plan and deploy all of the company’s virtualization and cloud computing solutions.

As part of VMware's solution provider program, all of Aventis’s pre-sales team members have earned the VMware Technical Sales Professional (VTSP) Certification and sales team members have earned both the VMware Sales Professional (VSP) Certification and the VMware Competitive Accreditation (vCA)—both of which, according to VMware, help Aventis’s team members understand its core products and successfully design and implement its virtualized solutions, especially for the small and midsized business market.

"Virtualization is essential for equipping SMBs with the IT capabilities they need to transform their business," said Hesam Lamei, president and founder of Aventis Systems, in a statement. "Ninety-five percent of the servers we sell are used in virtualized environments, with 90 percent of our customers utilizing a virtual private cloud or hybrid cloud approach. In our tradition of offering best-of-breed products, VMware was an obvious choice, and we are fully committed to partnerships like these that allow us to successfully offer and implement these solutions."

With its focus on SMBs, Aventis Systems said its new relationship with VMware will provide a unique advantage by coupling its expertise with the power of the virtualization giant’s product and services portfolio.

“SMBs face unique IT challenges," said Lamei. "The entire company runs on a few important applications, but reliable business technology can be complex and expensive. VMware provides a reliable, less costly solution that is simpler to manage and use."
