PanTerra Networks Announces Advisory Board

PanTerra Networks, a provider of cloud-based unified communications SaaS solutions for SMBs, has created a strategic advisory board consisting of cloud-based SaaS veterans, Ken Rudin, Roger Erickson, Karen Riley and PanTerra’s CEO, Arthur Chang.
The board will counsel the company on all aspects of the business, including strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, service direction, technology, messaging and operations. The board also will work closely with the executive staff to help define milestones to measure and implement strategic initiatives intended to contribute to the market adoption of WorldSmart.
Rudin was the co-founder and CMO of LucidEra, a pioneer in the cloud-based analytics market. Before LucidEra, Rudin was vice president and general manager of Siebel CRM OnDemand and started with them as the vice president of marketing for Siebel Analytics (now Oracle Analytics). Before Siebel, Rudin served as senior vice president of products for Salesforce.com and during that time, he also served on NetSuite’s advisory board. Prior to Salesforce.com, Rudin was co-founder and CEO of Emergent Corp., a consulting company acquired by Keane Inc. in 1999. Rudin started his career at the Scalable Systems Division at Oracle.
Erickson, a hosted service technical entrepreneur, is currently CTO for Autonomy Zantaz. Prior to the acquisition of Zantaz Inc. by Autonomy in July 2007, Erickson served six years as senior vice president of Product Development and Product Strategy for Zantaz. Prior to joining Zantaz, Erickson served as CEO of Spescom Software and Altris Software. Both companies provide electronic document management systems used by U.S. government and the largest utilities worldwide.
Riley, a seasoned executive in enterprise software and service companies, is a member of The Angels Forum and serves on the boards of Specialty’s Cafe and GeoG2 Inc., as well as the strategic advisory board of DeepDyve. She has served on the board of directors of Portal Software (acquired by Oracle); and on the strategic advisory boards for Transera Communications and Princeton Softech (acquired by IBM). Prior to that, Riley was senior vice president of Global Services on premise and on-demand consulting at Siebel Systems from 1999 through 2003. Prior to Siebel, Riley had a 20-year career at IBM where she held executive positions in product management, industry solution sales, systems integration and outsourcing services, and was most recently general manager of IBM Global Services’ CRM and Business Process Outsourcing division.
Chang, currently the president and CEO for PanTerra Networks, was previously the CEO of Cradle Technologies, a multicore multimedia DSP company. Before that, Chang was CEO of SoloPoint Communications, a provider of telecommunications equipment, where he took that company public. Prior to SoloPoint, Chang held various executive management positions with companies in the storage, server and remote access market places. Chang started his career at Bell Laboratories in Naperville, Ill.
