Parallels Plesk Adds Open-Xchange Support

Parallels Plesk Panel, a popular hosted services control panel for cloud service providers and resellers alike, is getting integrated with the Open-Xchange (OX) open source messaging and collaboration platform. The Plesk/Open-Xchange integration is aimed at helping partners of all shapes and sizes easily and quickly deploy OX webmail. The news comes as more than 1,000 channel partners, hosting providers and cloud services providers (CSPs) prepare to attend this week’s Parallels Summit in Orlando, Fla.

And since a major part of the Open-Xchange channel pitch is the ability to sell customers paid integration tools down the line, it has the potential to turn into a major source of recurring revenue for intergenia’s cloud reseller partners.

Open-Xchange has been making a lot of noise recently about how easy it is for hosted service providers to move to their platform. We expect to hear more from Open-Xchange over the next few days at Parallels Summit,
